From the very first appointment, we try to establish open lines of communication with our patients. The purpose is twofold: we understand you, and you understand us. With mutual understanding in place, we can work cooperatively toward the same goal: sustained dental health. Therefore, we would appreciate your cooperation on the following:

Late Arrivals - (10 minutes or more) will be rescheduled at the discretion of our staff. We will not short change our patients because of another's tardiness.

Failure to give 24 hours notice of cancellation will be grounds for charging a broken appointment fee.

Only bring children to the office that are having dental work done -we cannot function properly with children left unattended in the office. If children that we are treating are uncooperative or cannot follow direction, we will refer your child to a pedodontist (children's specialist).

Payment arrangements are to be made before treatment is scheduled. If treatment requires reserving large amounts of time, we may require a deposit, or payment to reserve your appointment time. We will work with you and your insurance company to file claims, however we are not a member of any preferred provider network. Any charges not covered by insurance are the sole responsibility of the patient.

We offer four convenient options:
1.) Cash/Check
2.) Credit Card
3.) 90 days - Interest Free
4.) Third Party Financing

If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss them with us. We are here to serve you! We thank you in advance for your cooperation in the above policies.

To Our Patients with Dental Insurance:

Our office has established what we feel to be reasonable and competitive fees for our services in the geographical area. We provide patients with estimates for recommended serves and the cost of those services.

We will work with you and your insurance company to file claims, however we are not a member of any preferred provider network. Please remember that the services we provide are above average, therefore what your insurance pays is determined by the premiums that you pay, not the quality of care you receive. Any charges not covered by insurance are the sole responsibility of the patient.

If you receive a letter from your insurance carrier stating our fee is above their usual, customary and reasonable payment amount, your carrier may have set a ceiling or limit on various procedures. What your insurance carrier may not tell you is that other carriers may pay our charge in full. Therefore, we feel our fees are within the reasonable and customary range for this geographical area.

We feel it is unfair for an insurance carrier to imply that we have mistreated you by overcharging for services rendered. This often places the doctor in a sensitive situation, which could damage the patient/doctor relationship. We are very conscious of our charges and our commitment to you.

If we can be of further service to you, please let us know.

Sincerely,
The Staff of Dr. Ronald L. Denton, D.D.S.
